Empowering My People operates a local homeless shelter called "A Resting Place". There is also a food pantry located on the premises. There are countless ways that one can become homeless. However, a homeless shelter is not intended to be a permanent solution to ones current homeless situation. Through compassion, coaching and spiritual guidance, we help individuals and families who face this delemma find suitable and affordable housing while equipping them with the fundamentals needed to eventually become self sufficient.
